When you are with someone whose only agenda is your agenda, you are more likely to get what you want. Most people in your life, particularly those who you are close to, may have an agenda that is contrary to what you want. Our role is to have your agenda be our agenda.
For example, if you tell your life partner that you are considering moving to France for a year, he or she may have a lot of conversations with you, but those conversations are likely to be biased. On the other hand, your coach will have your agenda as the foremost priority in every conversation, and he or she will assist you to create more detail for your dreams and create multiple ways in which you can fulfill them by taking small practical actions.

I’ve been doing a Buddhist practice for 15 years, and there’s actually some concern in that philosophy about desire. Dave’s workshops have opened up a new way to look at desire, and what I’ve learned about myself has allowed me to create what I want in a way that is less attached to the outcome and to live with more presence and clarity. My coach’s acute skill in listening has been an incredible support in integrating what I learned about myself to effect positive change in my relationship with myself and my children.
